Problem PC choses my team

I have a problem. This is my first season in PCM 2012 and I have a big problem.
Sometimes the computer choses my team ahead of a race and plays the first stage without my control. This means that the computer choses the wrong riders.
I'm not getting the normal "start" screen when starting the race where I normally can chose the riders...

Have anyone experienced the same?

(Im playing with the 1.4.0.0 patch and the PCM daily 2013 database)

I have read about your problem before but I don't know if there is a solution.
How often does it happen? Does your game crash sometimes?

Why do you want to turn off the auto-save? If you think about replaying the same stage to get a better result, then you could make a copy of the save. You can also replay a stage if you exit it before all riders reached the finish line.

On a side note: You could use my season planner to assign riders to a race in advance.

The in game planner will also let you assign riders in advance (which is how Lachi's works).

The auto save was just to try to secure myself against the pc chosing my team.
Anyway - the problem is very strange and I haven't tried it in any former versions.
I didn't know about the game planner - I'll look into it... Thank you...
