Hi all, i want to create a custom team using whichever editor is most suited for this job, i tried to use the editor that came with the game but that did not work..
Hope someone can help..

In the Fast Editor, you go to DYN_Team or Teams (dont know what its like for you), you add a new column, add the team name, shorter name and abbreviation. Next, you select the sponsor or sponsors, give a manager name, email, important races and regions and at the last you add the colors of the selected sponsor. Then you add the riders through DYN_cyclist or whatever its called.

Why don't you just make a custom team like you can at career mode?
You can change the jersey etc. used using an editor, it's way easier...

Is that also possible if you want to be WorldTour right from the beginning? (I dont really know..)

No, then you have to assign all those WT races by yourself. So it's possible, but takes longer.
But maybe he wants PCT or CT team.
Why wouldn't he use the 'make a team' mode?
