How to get all top riders to race

So i have just created my own tour but want to get all the best riders in the world to enter it.
I've put the popularity on 100, it's a grand tour and i have put the tour on many riders 'favourite races' list but i am still getting a low quality field when playing the race.
Surely there is a way for me to get the top riders to enter, any ideas? |

Download Lachi's editor, open the cdb, and it will appear like a spreadsheet thing. Just drop down to the appropriate column to edit the values.

What month is your race, and what kind of riders do you want to show up (GT contenders, hilly classics riders, cobbled classics riders, etc)?

Well, so to follow the guide I posted above but with specific examples: if you want climbing riders, assigning the race to the GT type of leaders should be enough. The type of leaders are in table STA_type_leader - the ones you'd be looking for is cya_giro, cya_tdf, and cya_vuelta, with IDs of 15, 16 and 17 respectively.
Checking in table STA_program, these riders for the month of June will use the programs (from STA_program_info) with IDs 40~48, 157~64 and 732~739.
So what you need to do is, in table STA_program_info, add the ID of your race in column gene_ilist_fkIDrace to the programs which have the IDs I mentioned above. The thing you have to be careful with is about overlapping races. For example, say that your race starts on June 4th; Dauphine starts on June 3th, so if the program already has the Dauphine, the rider will go to Dauphine (and logically not in your race).

Or if your doing it on stage race mode open the list of starters in game. Pick 9 riders from each team you want in, save the start list, and then when starting in stage race mode tick the load list of starters box and the AI will have to pick 9 from the amount you selected so they will have to enter their best riders. |
