So i want to create my own tour but without creating my own stages (Cos my stage editor crashes all the time). So what i want to do is take/copy stages already in other races and put them all together to make my own Tour.
If there is a way any help on how i can do this would be very much appreciated |

You should copy the wanted stages and rename them for your custom tour. If you want your tour to be called Grand Tour for example and it is top_grandtour, then name your stage top_grandtour_01_2013 etc.

Yes, but be careful, try to be consistent. For example if you will take stages from smaller races with 5 intermediate sprints, the Points Jersey will be a weird, because you'll have 5 sprints for 20 points, see what I mean? |

Just skip 1 and in 4, change "Place your stages" to "Copy and rename the stages you want".

My tour works during Stage Race Mode but when it comes to Career it keeps crashing when it try to start it. Any idea why this is happening? |

Well, it's likely a mistake you made when adding the race.. could be something with the race dates, with IDs, several possibilities. Try checking your edits, if you can't find anything try attaching the DB here so we can take a look

No weird characters or spaces are allowed in the file name. |

Yes, thank you very much any chance you would be able to make it so top riders will enter too? at the moment there are only poor/average riders entering (during 'stage race' mode anyway)
btw, can you tell me what i had done wrong/not done? Just for future reference so if/when i create another race i will know not to make the same mistake

What you should have done and I forgot to mention in the beginning was the ID_firststage and ID_laststage. For that, you enter 1412 and 21412 in Lachis editor or you give the Constant of the Stages a name and look up those names when filling the column in STA_Race

Right i see, i used PCM fast editor but everytime i clicked first or last stage it would drop down with only a few stages (none of mine appeared) so i just left that blank. I looked at it in the editor and it does show them. I will download lachis editor next time i create my own tour
Thanks a lot |

Both editors have some advantages over the other. The misadvantage of the fast editor is that you have to save and close the editor after you added the stages, else you cannot select them. |
