Giro startlist too strong!
MacC
Just started my Giro in first Season

Present are Wiggins, Froome, S./Sanchez, Nibali, Hejsdal, Cavendish, Gilbert etc etc

It's a really striong start list. i suppose the biggest thing is both Froome and Wiggins are there

Is this normal? they are all going to skip the tour or be tired?

The Rider
It doesn't necessarily mean that.

Don't know if it applies to pcm 2012 but with pcm 2011 (2015), Andy Shleck rode the Giro finished 9th/10rth then went on to the Tour in much better shape, losing by only a second thanks to final time trial!

The 'big names' are probs just there as training for the tour
, or other 'Sky' riders might have improved their stats a lot.

Giro - Tour is very common, especially in PCM. It's not because they're there that they won't be at the Tour.

The Giro can have such a start list, but next year you could find yourself with one of the weakest fields, it depends. Smile

Don't worry, the Tour start list is always strong!
