Hi everyone, I am getting along really nicely with PCM, with all the expected retirees I created this thread so we convert some of the riders into coaches.
I'm playing PCM 2011 DB 2K12 but to my knowledge it will work for pcm 2012 as well.
I need this format:
Name of coach
Fame of coach; National, International etc.
Wages: try to keep in relation to existing coaches
Then a number out of ten for the following, which signifies the coaches skill, using the above method:
Fighter
Puncheur
Stage Races
Time Trial
Sprinter
Cobbles
Climbing
Any help would be great, hope this thread becomes large and helpful to multiple users!
Ideally could someone form coaches stats for:
Bert De Waele |

Do you mean real riders like Vinokourov, Erik Zabel etc.?

Yeah, you can make up people if you want.
But I think real riders works better. |

Do you mean to make the training skills as realistic as possible? I mean, would Zabel be a sprinting coach or...?
In that case, I'd say Bert De Waele is National and primarily a puncher/classic coach, maybe. |

Just look for retired cyclists and see what their speciality was

Great idea! I also wanted to add some retired riders as trainers/scouts in my carreer. And maybe you can make some riders also scouts.

Great choices, especially as I was thinking of adding more Czech/Slovak sponsors and teams to database.
Any chance someone can come up with some Qatar/Omani coaches? |

Did you check whether the stats are 'kept' when starting a save-game? Setting them to 0 will make the game choose the stats automatically, but I never tried giving them stats myself. There's a chance they're overwritten by the game. |

Tbh, I haven't. I just naturally assumed they would work, but as long as there are new coaches in the game I'm not fussed! |

In the PCM2011 PCMD2K12 DB Bert is still riding for Landbouwkredit/Euphony, so you might want to retire him with an editor. |

He can also do it after he retires in the game. Maybe he can ride one or two years, and when he retires, then adding him as trainer.

I don't think he's already legendary after one Tour de France win. I think International is better. And maybe 8/10 for Stage Races.
