Have you ever had the problem where a certain AI team´s teammates just stop helping their captain and let him dry out?
This was a toprider with top-notch stats.
I have had this problem a number of times without being able to correct the problem in the DB or I haven´t been able to find anything that could correct the error.
Anything you have ever experienced? |

Never heard of this. Sorry, but even on high mountain stages the teammates are still there.

I run a site where you start as a rider at age 21, stat-system has been set up and you can retire when your career starts to go down again after age 32-34.
We also have 8 team managers (every team has 19 riders) and we have a custom made race schedule of original races that we run.
I run the races with one rider (Bob Robot) on Team Bot while 22-25 teams (depending on GT or smaller races) are run IN-game by the AI.
Managers just announce what riders that should be riding and who is the leader.
Sometimes one of the teams just stops helping their leader. In example after a bad day where the leader looses some minutes.
Any ideas how to correct this error?
I tried to experiment with Race classification results by putting the leader of the certain team in front of the race to see if the team would help the leader if he was in fact leading the race...but no they would not.

From your description I guess that the AI only supports riders who have a chance of winning. How do you assign the leader for AI teams anyway? |

I decide who is leader through the db after making the startliste (all custom riders and teams are implemented in the db), choose the race, yes to custom startlist, choose my bot-team and then i go out of the race into the main pcm screen, go to my editor, choose the roles under cyclist contract.
But all that aside.
Lets say that we have 8 teams who all have 1 rider who is competent enough to win the race.
One of these riders´s team mates just stop working for each other in the middle of the race.
Any idea why? |

I found the problem!
It was rather simple actually.
I use 1 rider so that I can see the race ingame, if that rider is withdrawn from the race before the last day of racing, there will be the problems where a or some teams stop working together and just sit at the end of the peleton doing nothing.
So to solve the problem, just make sure a minimum of 1 rider succeeds until the last day of racing where you can let him leave the race so that he does no interfere with the results. |

Erm, how do you follow the race without having an own rider in it?
