'cause I want to play with a manager who is real-life cycling person, have his real photo, real birthdate etc.
When having a career I will also build my team around nationality and other tendencies of the manager I have selected. If it is a known doper, I won't avoid dopers but if I would go with, say, Gilles Delion - then I will never recruit anybody even slightly shady (in real-life world). Additional realism factor, so to speak

The point is that you only see the manager's birthdate and photo when creating the career, and never more after that (not 100% about the birthdate though). So does it really matter?
