Crash on game startup

Hey guys,

i have a minor problem. When i startup PCM.exe the boot menu opens and i press "PLAY" then the game crashes. anyone who had the same problem or have any idea how to get rid of it ?

How can you call this minor? Could it be worse then not being able to play the game?

But anyway, you have to give more information:
Did it work before?
Did you install the latest patch?
Did you install a DB? If yes, which?
Where you able to play any of the older games?
What is the error message?
Did you try to start the game directly by double clicking PCM.exe?

okay, huge problem Pfft

I played like 4 hours earlier ( 10.00 to 14.00)
I just reinstalled patch 1.4.0.0 to see if that worked - it did not.
i use the "PcmDailyExpansionPack - Patch 1.3.0.0. not a singe problem before now.
i havent got any older versions installed yet, relatively new PC.
I did not get a error message, it simply just blinked like when the game switches to the intro scenes, and then crashed and went back to desktop.
i tried both PCM.exe and the shortcut for the boot menu - no luck with either of them Sad i am reinstalling the entire game ATM Sad

I doubt that re-installing will solve it.
