Until now I'm still playing PCM 2011, I'm a couple of seasons into the game.
Now I'm thinking about switching to PCM 2012.
But I'm a real career player, my games are always lasting a couple of seasons,
so I'm very interested if a fully updated PCM 2012 has some annoying bugs left?
like in pcm 2011 it really annoys met that top cyclists can be left without a team, and I'll have to do lot's of manual updates to my savegame every season.
And what about the gameplay, I guess mountain AI will be good, since that's what they always focus on, but sprints/classics, is this still good in pcm 2012? or would you say that they are better in 2011.
Top cyclists are still left without teams, yes. I haven't really played long careers in PCM12 so I don't know if there are more bugs, I guess someone else can give more details on this
Gameplay: worse than PCM11, in my opinion, specially the mountains. Riders just don't seem to get dropped anymore. You're over 2 .HC climbs and there are still 160 riders on the peloton. Sprints are also not much better imo. Riders just seem to lose waaay too much speed when they're running out of red bar, and in PCM12, they seem to run out of red bar quicker, in 1 km in the wind they are already fading out (depends on the rider's ability as well). This thread sums up some of the bad gameplay experience you may find: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_655237
The good part of PCM12 imo is the concerning the races/teams. It's possible to add .2 races again, and there are now 3 divisions as in real life (WT, PCT and CT), and the .2 races have rules such as "no WT teams and only PCT from the same country can take part". But if you play with the bigger teams, instead of the smaller ones, that doesn't really change much.
