game crashes because of new DB

I have downloaded the new 2013 pcm daily database for my game, pro cycling manager 2012. When i want to start a carreer it shuts down just before i can choose a team. I've installed it in the C: disk at program files in the pro cycling manager folder where the game installed.. Can somebody help me with this problem?

I just saw in another thread from lakebeach that he had the same problem and somebody recommended a other database. So i will try that one first. Can i just set it in the same folder again?

If this is the thread you're talking about, then read the thread and you'll see that the error is caused by him editing the DB wrongly, so it doesn't apply to your case. In fact, that was posted even before the V1 was out Pfft

But yes, some people have for some reason which we don't know experienced these crashes. Some things that apparently helped other people are: 1 - try creating a career with a country such as France, then create a new career with the region you wanted originally; 2 - keep trying some 3~5 more times, that might work as well.
