In this year both of my sponsors are in the final year. So, I have the renew option and the search for sponsor option.
I can not renew the contract with any sponsor, they want to wait until July.
1. I am allowed to renew the contract with both of my sponsor or only with one of them ? I read somewhere that I can sign only with one sponsor per year. It is the same for the renewal ?
2. I can search for sponsor while waiting until July ? This search for sponsor cancel the possibility for renewal with my actual sponsors in July ? Until what month do I have to sign with a sponsor ?
3. What is your advice ? The main sponsor gives me 4,3 mil per year. The second sponsor gives me 2,9 mil per year. What should I do in case I can not renew with both of them ? Renew with the main sponsor and wait until next year and search then a secondary sponsor ? It will be a difficult season next year. Search for a unique sponsor ? But I think that a unique sponsor gives me less money than 2 sponsors. I don't know what to do.
1. You can only sign a main sponsor for the first year, so you have to 'survive' your first season with just the main-sponsor. Pay attention though, some of the main sponsors don't allow co- ones...
2. You can renew with the old sponsor from July - 24 october I believe. You can sign with the new one the whole season. You can search for it the whole season too, I recommend start searching at January.
3. I advice starting to search for a new sponsor. You can negotiate with them, and look how much they want to offer. If it isn't more than let's say 5 mil(If the sponsor allows a co-sponsor later on, otherwise about 7mil) you should stick to the current sponsor... Your next year will be hard anyway...
Thanks. I started the search for a legendary sponsor worldwide. So, if I get a main sponsor with 5+ mil per year I will sign with him and next season I will search a secondary sponsor (even if the season will be tough). Or, I will sign with a unique sponsor if he offers me at least what the actual 2 sponsors offer me now.
Found several sponsors, but none as good as my original sponsors.
But ... I was paying attention to the sponsors' demands, so in July they were pleased by my activity and decided (both of them) to extend the contract 3 more years. More than that, they give me about 60k / month more than before. So I think to hire a scout to search for riders in the regions demanded by sponsors, in order to keep them pleased .
