Progression Questions

I have used the search, but i can't find what i want. I might have not used the right wording, so sorry if this is elsewhere, but then all you need do is post a link, so its hardly an effort...

Anyway, the questions
1) Do Free Riders progress normally?
They probably do, but some conformation wouldnt hurt

2) In Lachis Editor, in the table capital_f_xxx, the larger the number the quicker the rate or progression?
If not what do those numbers mean/do/effect, and what are maximum and minimums?

Simple questions, but it would help a lot to have some clear answers

1) They're assigned a "trainer" with (low) random progression values just like the ones in your team without a trainer,

Nobody said it was easy Pfft

Though I feel like understanding this makes it a bit easier to evaluate trade-offs (and forces me to look for 1's in gene_i_year_progression before starting the season to prevent disappointment!), it's certainly not a must to understand it, as you said.

I've mentioned this in another thread, I'll post it again (and hope that it gets changed in one of the updates) STA_cyclist_progression controls how much of a change gene_i_year_progression causes. In default a 1 in gene_i_year_progression = 20% (.2) of normal growth, and 5 = 300% (3).

I highly recommend changes the values in STA_cyclist_progression to match this:
1 - .5
2 - .75
3 - 1
4 - 1.33
5 - 2

this makes the gene_i_year_progression value a little less important while still giving some variation. No longer will riders have a completely stagnant year or have a season where they burst from bad to great.
