Signing Riders during the season

Guys,

I know you can only offer a contract to a rider in July,but If he accepts your offer,and is is not contracted currently with a team (a Free Agent), will he sign for your team immediately or at the end of the season.

he still waits till 24 october,
however on the first 3 days of your carreer i belive you can sign free riders who join directly

For the riders who are in other teams the negotiations start in July (and often are for a few days), but the riders come in your team at the end of the season. For the young riders from your scout they could come in tour team during the season if they are found early.
Regarding the negotiations, be sure to make the negotiations with the riders from your team in the last your of contract before they be an objective for other teams. So, if you want to keep a leader in the last year, begin the negotiations fast. After that it will be difficult. i lost the Schelck brothers because of that Frown .
The negotiations with riders who are hunted by many teams will be more difficult. Accept all their conditions, even a team-mate if they propose so.

Young (scouted) riders can come earlier if you sign them as trainee but not immediately.
