Using stages downloaded from pcmdaily

Hi, I am very bad at all the database and other stuff like that with pcm, i wanted to add the anpost ras into pcm12 but i have had alot of trouble trying to get it working, is it possible to download software that will do it for me or something like the pcm db were it can install itself, thanks

Exactly how doesn't it work?
Does the stage not appear ingame, does the game crash, does it just skip the race without racing it etc.

The downladed files should be placed in \Gui\CM_Stages.
The name on the file goes in the column "gene_sz_filename". Exactly how they should be put in PCM 12 I cant help you with as it appears from the guide to be different from PCM11

Hmm...
Have you made a line for each stage in sta_stage and are named correctly according to the thread linked to in lluuiiggii's guide (https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ost_529374)?

Not an expert though - especially not in the PCM12-system, but I might be able to spot something

If you're seeing all the same stages, and I'll guess they are all called Plouay - Plouay, then the game can't locate the stage files = they're not named accordingly, or not placed in the game stages folder.
Well, perhaps you might be interested to know that the PCMdaily 2013 Public Beta includes the An Post Ras  Even if you'd not be interested in playing in 2013, you could download only the .cdb file I attached in the stats discussion thread and copy the An Post lines in STA_race and STA_stage.

I think the problem might be that you forgot to put anything in "fkIDfirst_stage" and "fkIDlast_stage".
I tried entering the proper stage ID's, but can't test it in-game as I don't have PCM12.
If that doesn't work I suggest you listen to lluuiiggii (always a good idea...) and wait for the new DB to be released
