Budget problem when promoted to WT

Hi guys, newbie here on PCM 2012. Played the 07 for years and bought the 2012 a few weeks ago out of nostalgia.
I am playing with Europcar in the PCM daily expansion pack / DB, and after a first season where I got to WT, I signed a few extra riders (Bouhanni, Gallopin).
Bad surprise : I don't get extra money from the sponsor for now being a WT team (glups) and without big results, which I would for sure achieve in Normal but maybe not in Hard, I will soon find myself in trouble.
So I think maybe trying to get a second sponsor would help but I can't seem to find the option. Does that mean that Europcar does not allow a second sponsor (how do I know ? where is the ledger for that) ?
Could I mod that ?
I find it a bit hard that when I get the team promoted to WT I don't get a single extra dime from the main sponsor nor can get a second sponsor to help finance a couple of extra good riders and some better staff.
Any idea of a solution ?

Well, the sponsor budget won't increase if you promote to WT. When you renew your contract, it will increase your budget if you do now ride WT and used to be PCT. So the only option would be waiting till the sponsor contract ends, and then or find a better sponsor, or renew your current contract, but with more money...
A co-sponsor is also an option, but I guess Europcar doesn't allow them.
There is a co-sponsor table, it's located in Dyn_sponsor in Lachi's editor. You should tick the cosponsor box.

So I would have to load the save in the editor and tick that box, if I do that can I try to find that co-sponsor and sign him during the season ? ( I am on the 1st of january 2013 ingame) Or can I only sign it for next season, in which case I would have to cheat and mod it directly in the save ? |

It should be possible to search a co-sponsor in the actual season.

I think you can search for a co-sponsor instantly, but indeed, only for next season.
You can also edit the sponsor budget you recieve at the moment if you want, that's also in Dyn_Sponsor(Value_i_budget)

Another option would be to, with the editor, raise the budget from your sponsor. In the same table DYN_sponsor, raise the "value_i_budget" value.
Another possibility would be to use Lachi's Planner, which includes "sponsor scenarios". But I'm not sure if the changes apply immediately, and also iirc the contract of your sponsor should not be running out in the current year for it to work. But well, I'd say it's worth a shot (just make sure you don't overwrite your save)

ok guys just used the editor to tick the box cosponsor and slightly raise my budget but when i open the save (renamed so that i have another clean save if needed) the budget hasn't changed. i ran it one day to see if it had something to do with daily saves but no change. should i wait for the weekly save ?
when i reopen the database ( ie the save from my users folder0) in the editor the changes are there. Any idea ? |

Perhaps you also need to edit the column value_i_sponsor_future in DYN_team. The formula for that would be ID sponsor*65536 + budget/1000 ( = just add, in thousands of euros, how much you upped your budget). But honestly I'm not sure.

You changed you sponsor budget I think.
That means that you get more money monthly.
If you want to change your actual budget, you have to edit a table in Dyn_sponsor.
And indeed saving with another name than the previous name of the career can help sometimes(So you open career_1 and save it as career_1edited for example)
Or it could be Lluuiiggii's solution, but I think that only applies for next season...

thanks but i am now 1st of feb and although i changed the money in the dyn-sponsor column, still no change. is it like with a cache in game where i should also delete the carriere cdi and cdb~ that i had renamed and copied so that it has to reload properly ? |

You mean no change in the monthly budget you recieve?
Don't think that you have to delete anything.
You only have to edit the budget and then save it with another name.
Then load the career with the changed name.
You can see if it works immediately. Right-above at the career screen, you have a financial overview, with current budget and with monthly sponsor budget.
So try it again and look if it changes...
Note: The amount you enter in the editor(value_i_sponsor) is yearly, so you should divide it to 12 if you want to know your monthly budget.
