as the topic says, I´m just curious. On difficulty hard or extreme, that is. I´ve won the Giro-Vuelta double and Tour-vuelta double many times on Hard and 2-3 times on extreme. I´ve never done the Giro-Tour double though :S |

i achieved this feat on hard mode with nibali just last month. the tour was def the hardest to win but Nibbles' DH stat of 82 made all the difference.
now i didnt cheat, i didnt use any editors or custom DBs, and my team wasnt stacked with gods but the one ....trick.... that helped me win was to put alot of pressure on the GC riders in flat and mixed mountain stages. let a break go and then drill the peleton in the final 30kms. for whatever reason a lot of the GC contenders get caught out in the splits and lose serious time, especially guys like frank and andy who have low flat stats. guys like wiggo, however, hang tough and can only be dropped on those fast descents.
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!

I've done the Tour - Vuelta - World's RR with Nibbles... 2014 (with the PCM daily 2013 DB) and it was hard. The most useful rider for that to help Nibali on his quest IMO was Cancellara. As was said above, I just drilled the peloton on the flats, and moderately hilly stages. For world's, I didn't control the Italian team, but he was on good form and the AI made him attack at the right time and he got away. |

With a talent named Andrew Skene. He won 11 stages at the Tour, 9 in Giro, and I believe 9 in La Vuelta. He had 85 MO, RES, and REC. He's an absolute machine, and he was only 26.

I have come 1st in the Giro, 1st in the Tour and 2nd in the Vuelta before. The gap in the Vuelta was less than 1 minute and Frank Schleck (Who was the person I was doing it with) lost it to Nieve with 2 stages to go
