With the official release there are many World Championship Variants. I've only played for a maximum of 2 and a half seasons, and so far every World Championship was a hilly one.
Is there a list or does anyone know all variants and their orders? All I know is that the first 3 are hilly races (Valkenberg, Firenze and another one).
Thanks in advance! |

Many = 3 - the 2012 route, the 2013 route (Firenze) and the 2014 route (Ponferrada).

Oh, so after that it just returns to 2012? So all WC with the release are hilly profiles?
Thanks for the reply! |

Not exactly, in 2015 the WC will be a random choice between the 2012 and 2013. For the next years, always a random choice between the ones available (except the one used in the previous year). Unless you have downloaded a DB or the Stage Pack, yes, there are only these 3 WCs.

Okay, thanks
I guess I can live with that.
Another question, hope it's alright that I don't start a new thread but would it be possible to change the route of for example the French NC? |

Yes, same thing as adding a variant for any other race. For example, the French NC RR stage files are called "nat-fra_2012", variants should be called "nat-fra_2013", "nat-fra_v1" or "nat-fra_[something]".

Thanks, now all I have to do is find the location of the routes and I can try it out |

Okay thanks.
Just one more question, maybe? (sorry )
Can you somehow edit the date of a race? The main reason why I'm asking is, if I was to make a race myself, and I'd just put it in there, I'm not sure what date the race would be scheduled for, as it doesn't appear in the name. In PCM 2011 you could just do it with the editor but that's disappeared.
Thanks again |

You will use the general game editor, such as Lachis
then its STA_Race

Well if you're adding a race in the DB as TMM said you'll have to at some point fill race dates (actually STA_stage btw). For variants, it'll always be the same date as the original race.

Another question, no need for a new thread.
I downloaded some races from the stage database here, 3 WC Variants. In the list of CM_Stages, I see three WCs (2012, 2013 and 2014) along with some WCs with a name behind them (Kazachstan being one of many). Are those other variants which will randomly 'spawn' after 2014? How should I name the variants I downloaded? In the same way as for example _Kazachstan or with _v1 or _2015? |

If you want it to show up in a certain year then name it _that year e.g. _2015 means it will definitely happen in 2015. If you leave the name how it is or change it to v1 then it doesn't really matter (assuming it's already in the right format) as either way it will be involved as a possible choice for any years without a variant predefined as you can see in post #4 of this thread.
