Well was just wondering y if he is guilty why he is not stripped of Giro title, even tho he lost all his Pro Tour points for this season! which he would have won!
also why did he only get a 3 month ban, when others have had 2 year bans, alla basso, landis! why different punishments, y all the politics :x
Interesting to see how everyone on here seems to be sure Evans isn't doped.

"XY really should be stripped off his titles, for he is apparently doping!! People like rider XY are spattering the reputation of clean and honest cyclists like Evans!"
I'm not saying he is doped, but how come some members are so profoundly convinced he isn't? Especially in comparison with other top-athletes?

If we don't believe that at least 1 person who is a good climber isn't doped, we lose hope - and we'll cling to that no matter what
I, personally, have no idea who is doped or not - I wish everyone wasn't doped, but I just want to watch and enjoy the cycling

So im not allowed to be glad that a rider I dont like: Di Luca, has been stripped of his ProTour points, allowing a rider that I do like: Evans to win it???

i completely agree with you, as the post above fits in with the point you're making.
Di Luca isn't banned for doping as SN said. He's banned 3 month because he broke some rule about having a not licenced doctor. But of course we all know what that doctor was for.
Anyway, he lost all his Pro Tour points due to UCI:s rules, according to cyclingnews.com:
"The UCI issued a statement on Thursday announcing that Di Luca was "excluded from the UCI ProTour ranking in accordance to the article 1.2.133.1 of the UCI regulations." That rule states that any suspended rider will be excluded from the classification if the suspension lasts "until the last event counting for the ranking". Because Di Luca was suspended just prior to the final ProTour race, the Giro di Lombardia, he will lose the entire series."
exactly. nothing to do with doping. since they couldn't nab him for doping, they got him for whatever they could.
