I decided to try and make a jersey on Paint.net
I have:
A plis
A sponsor placement layer...
But I don't really know where to start. I think I need another template, or do I ust start on the Plis? I am a total newbie a this.
Any tips are gratefully recieved

Paint?
Do you mean Paint.Net or are you actually using Microsoft Paint? Because you'll never make a jersey with that.

It's for GIMP, but it explains the basics.
EDIT: Actually, I'd recommend you to use GIMP instead. It's far better in my opinion.

After using both GIMP and Paint.net, I would recommend GIMP every day! And the guide by maggi is great. it is what I use
