so i´ve played the game for a couple of seasons and therefore feel assured that my view on the game is fine. Fine enough to publically critisize or praise it.
pro´s:
the game runs better and while playing stages, its more fluent.
able to attack without ruining your riders stamina completely, much better balanced
con´s:
Scouting is the same and is rater boring.
The u-23 is the same and rather uninspirirng.
The manager part is the same and almost non-existent
training is the same and quite frankly non-existent.
The Ai still cant grasp the concept of planning a season properly.
The in-game screen is actually worse then pcm 2011
i´ve probably forgotten a few elements in the pro and con section, but in general im a bit dissapointed in the lack of development. I know it a song we´ve all heard or played ourselves before.
I know its a tune you have all heard or played yourself before, but its just such a pitty, that the game and its developers doesnt make the game more varied when it comes to being a manager. |

Quite sure you forgot several things that also changed in betwen PCM11 and 12. Like 3 divisions now and race planning for example. Which is a mayor change and actually good for the motivation while playing with a small team.
But indeed there is still a lot to improve in especially in the managenent part. |

season planner isnt a big deal imo, especially when considering that an unofficial one was availabe and quite ab bit before cyanide´s.

i must agree with greco, the game lacks of development, and the game haves a horrible interface, and the security system is even better than the game |

I don't post a lot, but I do want to give my point of view in this topic.
I love this game, but you've got to be honest. This game is basically unplayable until (after a few weeks/months) some patches are developed and the communities develop a db.
I work on IT projects myself and understand that not everything can be perfect, but things like the bug in mountain stages show me that they didn't even bother to test the game.. The added the Armada feature, but in my opinion this wasn't even ready to go in the game.
I honestly believe that if it wasn't for communities like PcmDaily, PcmFrance, PcmSpain and PCMfocus (to name a few) this game wouldn't be around for much longer.

on topic: I think you're waay too negative. When you said "manager part is the same and almost non-existent" this proves to me that you don't understand how to manage your team.
As a reallife manager, what else besides; riders transfers, calender planning and race infortmation; can you do ?
That's it my friend, life of a cycling manager isn't as complicated as a football manager for example.
Manage a team and coach them in the races.... should be sufficient for everybody.
so you assume, because i feel there is a lack of development, that i cant manage my team in this game.? What a really really weird assumption.
listen mate, if i would like more duties as a manager and a more developed/complicated/detailed management part of the game, does this sound like someone who is having a problem with this game.?
your view on being a manager is far too simplistic. There are numerous parts of the game, that could be developed in regards to the management part. |
