young riders racing days
kingunique
Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask, how many days should young riders race. I know that riders above 25 can be in maximum form for 60 racing days and then they slowly lose their form (however 70-75 days can always be fine), but I guess young riders should race just about 30 days, is that right?
Thanks a lot!

No, the age doesn't matter at all. You can ride 100 days with a young rider and it won't harm his potential. He just won't be in top shape after 60 days.

It doesn`t matter.
No matter the age you can go up to 60 before losing some fitness with every race day above.

If your asking this because of evolution, it's a myth. Young riders can have 60+ race days that their potential shouldn't change.

If it is in terms of calendar, young riders should have a bottle carrier role and be around 40-70 race days.
