Help! Career gone - 5 seasons lost!

So i was 5 years into my career and I have apparently lost everything. After completing a stage today I left my computer and something in the background restarted the computer at the race results page. Now when I go back into the game and click "Load last saved game" nothing happens. If I manually load, the correct career and progress is not there... Pretty bummed... I know it's not a big deal, but I did go through quite a lot to come out of the red by a million credits, sign new sponsors, purchase equipment, and so on....
If anyone has any help, or simply wants to tell me to face the fact my work is gone, it would be greatly appreciated! |

I'm by no means an expert, but did you try loading a weekly save?

You copy the weekly save that you want and you paste it into the Saved games folder where all the games you started are. Enter the game and it should be there  |

I will help you. Go to the PCM folder in your Documents. There's a folder that says DataBase. If I remember it has a folder in it that says Solo, and inside that one there are folders with names of your DB's. Open the folder of the DB you used and paste the weekly save there. I dont know if it is right because I dont have the game installed but I think it is like that |
