Contracts for continental teams

Hi

I can't seem to fnd this discussed any where else, so I thought I might throw the question out there.

If I remember correctly, continental teams are only allowed to sign one year contracts. But this isn't the fact in pcm 12, even though it should be possible to implement.

Is it possible to do this manualy, perhaps by tweaking the database, or is it hardcoded in the game?

Hardcoded I'm afraid. At the end of a season you could go through all the continental teams' contracts in the database and change them to 1 year contracts but beyond that there isn't anything much you could do.

You can edit the database so that the sponsor contracts of the continental teams only last one year. But as CountArach said, it is hardcoded, so the next contracts might be longer again.

But why do you want to do it?

I realise that my question wasn't correctly put. I am not referring to the teams contracts, but the riders contracts on the continental teams.

Yeah that's what I meant too. Hardcoded.

Glad that you understood me correctlySmile. But a shame it can't fixed (unless Cyanide does it, which doesn't seem likely.

Yes, but I think with the way the game renews contracts (=rarely) and the unrealistic team compositions we often have after a few years, that would just get worse when contracts were much shorter.
