Possible to add a race during career?

Hi all, just started playing pcm12, got Lachi's editor, good job btw, made a custom team, so not getting invited to all the big races.

Was just wondering if you could add a race to your schedule during a career.

For instance, adding Giro de'italia. Since i did not get a wildcard. And it's a sponsor goal..

You can change the state of the invitation of your team in DYN_team_race. Iirc, find the race (Giro ID = 135), find your team in the Giro teams (look up the ID in DYN_team) and change fkIDinvitation_state from 7 (or whatever is there Pfft) to 3 (you can find out what each of the numbers mean in STA_invitation_state). Also I think you need to take a team out of the race (same process, but the other way around).

In this game, the sponsor goals don't matter at all. You could easily ignore them without fearing any consequences.
I would not waste my riders on a race like the Giro only because the game creates stupid sponsor goals.
