You still have to make the extra 2km from the start and finish when making the route?
Everytime I re-do the route and finish entering the loop the stage editor just freezes.
I will probably re-do it, but I thought I did it right before, but the stage shows up as 0km, so when I thought I fixed it, it showed up as 1040km, 10x the amount of one loop.
My problem is that as soon as I complete the circuit, but still have to finish it off and add the route for the final 2km runoff, the editor freezes so I cant actually make the stage, and the one time it didn't freeze the stage was like I said, 1040km...
I tried re-making the stage, and it still did this, so I must be doing something wrong.
Can someone take a look at the stage.
I noticed the little arrows inside the spline circles for each road point are pointed the wrong direction in some cases, but I thought I fixed it, however the editor still locks up as soon as I enter in the circuit info.
Hm, worked fine here. Actually, not 100% fine, since apparently there was some sort of bug in the transition 1st/2nd lap (at least in the spline camera), but no crashes/freezes. How are you creating the route?
Btw, I believe this isn't the final edits yet, since there's parts of the route without landscapes, etc, but 2 things: 1 - don't finish roads in the middle of a city, otherwise you'll have the city bug with the blue "holes", and 2 - don't forget to take out the roadcrossings from the dirty roads parts (unless they're supposed to be this way, in which case I'll call that the weirdest road ever ).

What I do is a follow from the extra 2km then click every few road points until I get all the way back to the part where the road has already been made a part of the route (so I guess where the loop begins) and then I click it and some circuit info comes up asking me a name of the loop and how many laps I want. I just called it Battenkill and then made it 2 laps, but it freezes as soon as I confirm that.
And thanks for the road/dirt tips, and the rest of the landscape honestly I was calling it done, but I will improve it It was just a quick job to get back in stage making, but its not working very well
And I dont know what you mean by roads in the middle of cities? Do you mean, if I make a square covering both sides of the road [|] like that its bad, and it should be done like this []|[]?

Well, try the file attached. It includes the 2 kms before entering the circuit, then 2 laps on the circuit and the 2 kms out of the circuit.
Btw, the encounter of the two roads in the city of the beginning is very weird. It looked like there was 1 road and in one point of it another road started, but apparently they were two roads connected by a third one (the one which started it). Quite hard to explain No idea if it was related to your problem, but I decided to change it anyway. Problem was that when I changed the roads there was only one road connection and so the editor could take two ways to go from the intersection to any point in the road, and no matter what I tried it always took the wrong direction to do that (again quite hard to explain ). So I had to create a 3rd small road (which goes from near the entrance to the beginning/final city and finishes in the city). Yeah this whole paragraph just to explain why there's a 3rd new road on the map
Yes, of course it's alright to have roads in the middle of cities What you shouldn't do if end roads in the middle of cities, like in the image (the road on the top), otherwise when rendering the city you'll get that bug "blue hole" in the city.

Ohhhh, I get you now. So its fine if it goes all the way through, but if it stops in the middle of a city, you get the bug! Thanks Lets hope the stage works this time
