Equipment in expansion pack

How does equpment work in the pack (& in the game overall)

1. If there is a flat race, do you just take the equipment with the highest rate on flat and the most stars on the rest (ex 5 stars flat, 4 climbing & 4 TT) Or is it better to keep TT for instance low,

2. Since the pack, there is more choice for equpment, but they hide the stars? Is that normal?

3. For the moment I play stage races but no careers, does equipment matter here?

Equipment has no influence in any game mode Wink Therefore yes, it's normal (= not a problem) that the list hides the stars, and are there equipment with different ratings? I thought they were all the same Pfft

So, even when playing a career, it is not important to invest in better equipment?

And if you don't choose TT equipment in a TT or you choose mountain equipment in a flat race, it has no effect?

Why is it in the game then???

It`s one thing of the game for years now and never had any influence i Think.
So just ignore this point. In later DB`s it`s normally equal and all teams ride their real brands.

For me the equipments didn't work !
