When in 3D mode the front part of the bike is missing on all riders and sometimes the head aswell

You need to select the equipment in the pre-race equipment menu.

When i go on the equipment the picture is all blue

Sounds to me like you didn't install whatever DB you have correctly. Make sure that you extract the files of the DB to your main PCM-folder, e.g. Program Files/Cyanide/Name of your PCM-folder.
