How can I get a bigger budget at the start of the game with the option of making my own team ?

This and many more questions have already been answered. You might want to the search. You need a tool like ArtMoney (google it)

I can't get it to work with the latest PCMDaily DB/Patch (not sure what to call it). However, when I search the amount I want to change. Nothing comes up. What the hell? Sad

I certainly doubt that a Custom DB changed the functionality of the program. Make sure you're following the guide precisely.
