Set resolution lower?

maybe a stupid question, but I have my resolution set at the highest possible, but then I have all the details set to 0 (except spectators, that is 1)

The game is running smoothly, but I was wondering if i choose a lower resolution (1024x..) am I than able to put more detail to the game, like one texture per rider or does that have nothing to do with it.

It is possible that you gain performance by reducing the resolution. But I cannot tell you how much you will gain and if it is enough to activate that option.
The easiest way is to try it with one of the bigger stages like Milano-San Remo or a long mountain stage and play it on 1x or 2x until the end. If it does not slow down or crash you are fine.

Hi,

I just posted a similar thread in the "Graphics" section. I want to play on smaller resolution not for perfomance but so I can do other stuff on my screen at the same time. PCM11 you could play in 800x600, but even after changing the settings in the config/GraphicsConfiguration.xml file, it always reverts back to 1024x768. The smallest I have got it to is 1024x720. Does anybody know how to get it even lower? Or ist ehre just a minimum built into the game?

I really don't know. Did you try activating that "Force option" option
