Oh well, there I go again, far behind the times.

I've been on the road for a few weeks and heard snippets about his suspension from cycling/Ironman-nonsense earlier in the month but not that he was actually formally charged.

Isn't it revealing that the BBC news website chooses to run this as its headline on the eve of the TDF, even if the story is 16 days old. I think this could be a valuable thread on the true nature of modern new corporations and how they operate. Wink

Well it is new news, earlier it was essentially an accusation and they gave Lance a chance to come forward. Now they have formally charged him. (No one ever seriously thought he would come forward and admit to anything, but it was a formality).
