Ballan or Gilbert will look to make a break-away move, while my four-fetched rocket of Van Heerden - Pedersen - Haedo - Goss will strive to make it a top 5 in the mass bunch finish...
But Pipo should be this years favourite, we saw him do the trick last year and he convinced most of us. |

Yes, the last few coastal climbs were crucial last year, and it seems they will be yet again - whoever gets a gap over them should win - no gap, it's all down to a sprint

I have no idea If we decide what to do with Tirreno, Setzel will probably get it all done quickly, but I dont think San Remo willbe raced before Friday.

I would have like to have Valverde here, but schedule constraints has seen me feild a team that probably has no chance. And i really think Valverde could have done it, with his superb hill riding and a good sprint should it been a small group. Oh well.

this was a great race for Caisse last year, we had 4 riders in the winning break

Sanchez G. and Hushovd is the best riders participating for Milan - San Remo.
Hushovd will win over Freire, Bennati and all other sprinters in a mass sprint. (sarcasm) Ok, that will never happen, but maybe Sanchez G. could win this race.
Good luck to all teams. |
