I was forced to reinstall my pcm 2006, because i´ve played to may 2009 and my saved game crashed. so I can´t play with it anymore.
fortunately, i´d predicted it, actually I was simulating one saved game and played serious with an another saved game.
but when I clicked on single player, the game crashed.
i´ve been forced to reinstall the game, but I copied all the saved game files and then I put them in the reinstalled folder.
but now the game didn´t worked. so I had to delete a lot of saved games, but the one I played serious with was left. but the saved game that Id saved and copied to the reinstalled folder doesn´t appear when Í want to load a game. it´s empty.
how come? |

there is something to do with the .cdb file with the ~ in it but i can't remember what

There is something you can do
Your saved game will be something like "yourgame".cdb.
Assuming you saved it to its default location, it's in C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2006\Database\Solo\OfficialRelease
Now, in there will also be a "yourgame".cdb~ file. Now here's what you can try.
Backup your "yourgame".cdb. to someplace safe. Now delete the "yourgame".cdb. in the ...OfficialRelease folder. Now rename the "yourgame".cdb~ to "yourgame".cdb.
Test it to see if it works. If it works, delete the "yourgame".cdb. file you backed up, because you won't be needing it anymore. From then on, a new "yourgame".cdb~ will be generated. |
