PCM10 Sprinters Problem

Heya, I have a query:

In my Exxon story, the sprinters are having probably the Worst season, of there lives! Farrar on my team has done pretty well where he's entered, but the likes of Cav, Greipel, Petacchi, Bos, Haedo, Feillu etc etc, have just been invisible, all season.

E.G. Cavendish's Season Palmarés:

Tdf Podium on stage 7, top 10 on stage 5
MSR: 12th place
Tirreno-Adriatico: Top 10 on stage 3
Pologne:Top 10 on Stage 1
Gent-Wevelgem:15th
Tour of CaliforniaPfftodium on stage 3


Not exactly what we'd expect form the Manx Missile, and the other sprinters named above have similar, or worse stories...

Is there any reason you guys can think of, as to why teh top sprinters simply aren't competing for the stages as we'd expect?

The main issue is probably that sprinting doesn't really work properly in PCM10. There's some debate over whether it worked better in patch 1.0.4.1. or 1.0.4.2, so you might want to try out another patch than the one you're using.

I tried swapping to 1.0.4.2 before, Last time, I had a problem to the tune of it not working with the Daily DB, and me having to re-install, reckon it's worth trying again?

The PCM.daily DB is fully compatible with both patches, but you have to do some file swapping.

Check Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/PCM.daily DB Backup. Two files have a ending that says Patch1041 or Patch1042. These are the database files you need to use.

Hmm, I just checked that folder- there's one "Local" and one "local_1041"
Is the first one "local_1042" ?

Yes - and that's the one that's installed per default. So you only need to change something if you switch to Patch 1.0.4.1.
