Well, as Julich lost 2 minutes to Dekker last year and the route this year is a lot harder and has the Mont Ventoux to it, I really doubt Julich's chances. It should be up to the hilly climbers - the likes of Contador and Dekker as already mentioned.

But we should really watch out for the Italians. Cune, Danilo and Ricco will all look like favourites should they decide to race here. Vino should make a decent result as well, should he pick the French race.

And Addy, I don't think any of the French riders will be pushed from (rock) bottom to the top of the GC, simply because of the home race bonus. Sorry...

I don't think Dekker will win this one. He might take a stage victory, but I don't think he'll win overall. Contador is much more likely, so is Danilo Di Luca.
