Need help for exporting stage

I'm having some problems with a stage I've tried making myself. The stage is alright, but when I export it, it saves as a .zcts, instead of a .cdb
Can I put it in the database with the extension zcts?

Exported stages have .cds & .zces extensions. A .zcts is a saved stage, you can edit it but not play with it.

Then what do I have to do in order to play the created stage? Thanks for the quick reply.

You have to export it to your CM_Stages folder, and edit the DB so your stages appear in game. I'm sure this have been answered tones of times, so using the search function you'll find more detailed and better explained answers.
