PCM Problem

When I start my game, and I click on Play. A message pops up and says:
Error accessing the application data. Reinstall the application and try again.
If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support.
What is happening and what can I do, except re-installing?

Now I found out that the message also pops up, when I click on some of the other choices, like DB Editor.

It tells you to re-install and you want to avoid re-installing?

Did you do something to your computer lately?

You could try to start the manually by double clicking PCM.EXE

If you cannot get the files back to where they belong or start the game manually, then you might not have much choices left.
