Sprinting uphill?

What stats are important for sprinting uphill? When I have a pretty good sprinter with decent hills, Gilbert still kills him. So does sprint even matter when it's up a hill/mountain?

Depends on the setting of the stage in the DB. There's a value called 'uphillsprint', and this setting defines whether the sprinting value is used or the hill value. Normally uphill sprints have either a mix of these or totally a hill value.
