all my careers and saved data have disappeared from my game. i was messing about with an editor and the database files but i didnt do anything that i thought would cause such problems. can anyone help?
top 10 of all time in no particular order, not including the cannibal cause hes automatically #1:
-Gemininani -Nencini -Anquetil -Coppi
-Kelly -Hinault -Zabel -Bettini -Rebellin -Magni
..and honorable mention to Tom Simpson whos career was cut short.
Top 5 noobs most likely to tear it up this season:
-Phinney -Moser -TJ -Guardini -DURBO!

have you looked in the Weekly save-map?? Just start the latest save (in game-date) and it should be there...

i dont quite understand. outside of launching the game and going to "load saved game" i have no idea how to launch from a different save date. right now when i start the game its like i just bought it. even my settings got reset

Unless you've deleted the My Docs PCM folder, you should be able to get your career back with the weekly save. Your weekly save is located in My Docs/PCM11/users/username/Database/Weekly Save. Copy the latest save from that folder to (same as above)...Database/Solo/DB of the career (if the folder isn't there, just create one). Then rename it to Career_X and load it ingame.

Your saves should be here: my documents\pcm2011\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\
If that folder is empty, then look in the folder called weeklysave. Copy the latest file from the weeklysave folder to the save game folder.
Maybe you did create another user in the game? Try to check the user selection in the game. |

thanks for the advice . i tried what you suggested but now pcm crashes when i go to load a save game. i dont know whats going on
