It really depends on how you want to play the game.

My tips

-drop the riders who have an ending contract, and who ask too much money compared to their skills.
-drop the bad riders who have no talent at all.

-Hire riders from areas that are important to your sponsor, who are cheap compared to their skills
-Hire riders that aren't super yet, but who have been growing in terms of skills. They will continue to grow when they are with you.
