Signing a 4th absolute leader to your team, bad idea?

The topic title says it all. I'm currently in late august in my carreer and I want to sign Nick Nuyens, but he wants to be an absolute leader in his contract. I already have 3 leaders though, so I'm wondering what will happen if I sign a fourth.
I tried offering Nuyens a contract as a luxury rider, with better salary than he was asking for, but he kept declining, so I guess the only way to get him on board is to sign him as leader. What would happen if I do?
Perhaps I should wait till the end of the season and see if I can get rid of one of my current leaders if another team is interested in them?

It depends on how you use these riders. If one of them would have to be a free element in every race he enters, his morale will be affected negatively by that throughout the season.
But I neither know how big the morale drop is nor if morale has any significant impact on the performance. I never experienced a visible difference, though.
To help you, I would definately sign him if he strengthens your team and fits your budget.

As far as I know the roles don`t play any role if you play in 3D mode.
The moral just goes down if you simulate the stages.

No but if you play in 3D the daily form of your captain can't go below -2 i guess.

If you play a race in 3D, is there any way to ensure that the rider has a good motivation for that day?

If you mean daily form, you cant affect it, it is completly random. Only exception is your leader for a stage cant go below -2 as said above.
Edit: Or is it -3? Cant remember it
