hey,

i've downloaded the cyclocross db, but if i want to play the pcmdaily 2012 db, all the roads are sandy, what do i have to do to have the normal asphalte roads back?

That has been answered already in the thread of the DB.

Generally it is not a good idea to install two or more DBs into the same game folder.

On page 5 you find the answer to your question and my instruction how to correctly install two DBs:
