i have installed the dbv1 and everything is perfect except for when i select it and click OK the game automatically switches back to officialrelease.cdb - this goes for any db installed - none of them can stay selected.

Ideas?

It doesn't change back as long as you stay out of the Options -> Database menu.

So if you start a game after having picked the DB, it will work just fine.

The trick is to select the DB and never come back to the DB selection screen. PCM 11 has this small bug that every time you go back to the DB selection screen, it'll select the first DB on the list. So you either select your DB and don't enter that page anymore or you add a dot "." or a number sign "#" etc to the beginning of your DB's name so it'll appear in the top of the list.

Edit: yeah, quite late, I was searching for this answer (then just ctrl+c ctrl+v) Pfft
