buy online game or in the stores?

Hey.

I want to buy the game and my question is: if I buy the game by downloading from the internet, if the game is equal to what is on sale in stores and have no problem in installing patches and databases, and if I can remove it from the computer and re-install later.

Concerning the installation of patches, databases, etc, it's the same thing, the game is the same.

Yes, you can remove it and install it later. You initially have 3 activations of the game, but if you run out of them you can ask for more. Also when uninstalling the game, you can either keep the activation on the same computer (in case you're doing a reinstall - in that case you won't lose the activation), and there are seem to be ways to keep the activation even if you change computers (not sure about this and how exactly it works though).
