How do you make a country scoutable

Probably another silly question but here we go. How do you make a country scoutable.I have been looking in the Nations (in Fast editor) thinking that there might be a column there whicj would explain that,but there weren't.,so how do I do that...we can use Algier as an example

You have to open the DB in an editor, and then go to STA_region. There is a column called gene_i_weight. You have to change the value from 0 to 1.

Then you have to edit the xml called regen.xml found in E:\Games\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2011\GamePlay\YoungRiderCarac (or similar), and use the format already used for the countries in there.

This is of course only if you want to activate a country that is already present in the DB. If you want to add an entire new country, there is more work.

But what about the Algerian riders that you wanna scout? Then you to add some young, Algerian riders right?

You have to add the names to the regen.xml

It will look something like this
(Default)(Algeria)
A
B
C
D
etc.
(/Default)(/Algeria) or the likes.

There is a first- and a surname list, and the game will combine names from the lists to make up a young rider.

Trust me, I did this for the Daily DB Smile

Thanks a lot that was very helpful and seems to be easy enough... did a similar thing endlessly for Paradox Entertainment
