helllo well the title says it all.
i want to add pinarell frames. when i edit sta_equipment marques and sta_euqipment i just add the marque pinarello and in equipment i add a bike. now when i open sta_TGA and add two new pics there (Pinarello logo and pinarello bike) they dont show up in the game menu. i can see the new brand pinarello and also the stats of the montello TT bike but i cant see pinarellos logo nor the bike itself. anyone got a hint on this? in STA_TGA all pics and the TGA_ID's can be found here. even though the files itself are dds files and not tga files. but i tried with both files, tga and dds but none of them show up. fe i just copied the file logo_time.dds and renamed it to logo_pinarello.dds but it still didnt showed up. isn't it possible to add new files to STA_TGA? cuz whenever i do it has normally the last generated number (3669) and when i add this TGA_ID to STA_Equipment as picture id for the new frame it wont show up.
i hope someone understood me. and even more i hope someone answers.
and i know that i can simpy replace existing euqipment (fe i could remove look and replace it with pinarello that works) i rather want to add new shit.
it is definatley possible because the PPDB added loads more, but i personally don't have any experience in adding equipment, as a last resort you may want to consider asking Plakker from PPDB
i dont know these people nor how i find em. i mean im a newbie but im not a noob. i coded before for many ego shooters and mostly i know how to handle this database cause its only c+p you dont even need any xp at all.
so if you could get me in contact with someone i would apreciate this. im sure the solution to my problem is quite simple.
if you haven't heard of it, it is without doubt the best series of packs and db's for PCM, unfortunatley he hasn't made any for PCM07 but his work with previous versions is awesome
his db got 10/10 in our database reviews section and it includes such things as extra equipment, 180+ team a hell of a lot of riders etc.
hance why i said you may need to contact him, and i said as a last resort as he is known for having a temper over the smallest things
i can understand this temper when i read some of the posts here cuz the database is pretty much self explinatory. ohoh english is not my native language. lol. yeah i wait for some one to come to tell me and i will try a little stuff myself. if i still don't succeed then i can still follow your advice. i dont know any 2006 stuff i just got myself 2006 to get all the stages and some sound files.
