I've thought about opening a download category for save games. The idea is that you guys send in your save games, and I add them to the download database, making them available to the public.
What do you think?

Good if the save game was particularly interesting, but a career to me is more of a personal quest. I can think of two good reasons for doing it though:
1. A user cant progress past a certain date in their own career (due to a crash), but they could download a save game which is past their crash, and therefore continue. Obviously no way of knowing if problems would continue or not until tried.
2. It would give users the chance to use riders who have developed to their full potential but without the hassle of playing for weeks or months, depending on free time, to get to that stage. Perfect for those Cavendish, Dekker or Boassen Hagen fans! |

i think its a cool idea too, but would probably be only good for careers after at least one season, if not more

Fine -- start sending me some save games then. You can attach them to this thread if you click the "New Reply"-button - remember to compres your save game into .zip or .rar first.
You can also send them to my e-mail address.
Also, a description of your save game would be very welcome. |

I love how ironic you are
For those who don't know: Mercury's Danish site, PCMGeeks.dk, is already hosting save games. I just transferred their good idea to this place.

I'm not being ironic at all. I think it's a great idea - why do you think we started our savegame base in the first place!?

If Addy can "un-crappify" my CSC game, you could try doing 2008 with Sastre, A. Schleck, Popovitch and Valverde And thats while actually staying only 9k's above the wage budget.
