How to tell which AI riders will race in career?

Is there any way to figure out which AI riders will take part in a race before you select your own riders?

I thought about starting a race, selecting any riders, then pausing the game and looking at who came to the race, then quitting the race and starting it again, but I wonder if the AI teams will remain the same, as at least the weather changes.

Yes, that way works, the AI teams will remain the same. And also on the day of the race but before it, if you click on rider who'll participate on the race you'll see the race on 'Currently'.

I see.

I found out I can also check with an Editor before starting the race.

I prefer this option now, as not only is it faster, but I can sort riders by their skill columns, telling the leaders and strongest participants apart from the pack easily.

I hate that Cadel Evans rides the Australian Championships in my career? If I'm playing as a different team, can I force him not to compete?

DYN_team_race contains all the team lineups.
