Search and Shortlist Buttons?

Hey guys,
I was playing career mode, and I realised the magnifying glass that says search and also a checklist next to it that says shortlist. Does anyone know what these are for? Thanks.

This is to search for riders you would like to transfer, or just look up. Your shortlist is a helpful tool to allow you to have a "short list" of riders you would be interested in transfering, so that you don't have to search them up every single time. Quite simple really, if you had a look yourself, you would probably find this out. And also, why the double post?

ohh soory. its because i pressed back just after i clicked post because i needed to change the title. and in my search thing there were only Argentinians and Aussies..
