so i am fdj in 2014...it is their final year...i have found several replacements..i sign the biggest one...and then try to sign a smaller co-sponsor...when i do this, it seems to trump my original bigger sponsor...

It's a bug in the game. You're not actually signing with a co-sponsor, you're just signing a new head sponsor - and since you can only have one head sponsor, new contracts override the old contracts.
